AIC rubber bonded ferrite magnet(Flexible magnet) is made by mixing ferrite magnet powder with synthetic rubber or plastic (CPE or NBR) .This type of magnet has excellent flexibility characteristic in permanent magnetic material field. It can be easily folded, twisted without damaging the magnetic properties of the magnet. It also have excellent machining characteristic which cutting, punching,drilling and sawing can be easily done using normal tools, such us scissors.
AIC rubber bonded ferrite magnet is available in isotropic rubber magnet and anisotropic rubber magnet. The magnetic force of isotropic rubber ferrite magnet is lower than anisotropic rubber magnet.The major applications of isotropic rubber magnet are promotional,decoration magnets for refrigerator and magnets for toys and leaming material. Comparing with isotropic rubber magnet, anisotropic rubber magnet have vety high values of Coercive Force Hc,Maximum Energy Product (BH)max and Residual Induction Br. So the applications of anisotropic rubber magnet are major for motors, sensors and magnetic holding application, which the working environment of these applications is usually very complicate.
Working Temperature:
Operation temperature range is recommended from -15oF to 160o F(-26o C to 71o C).
Flexibility:
At 68o F(20o C), the materials above can be coiled to a 1/2''(12.7mm)radius without cracking.
