MultiDimension Technology Launches High-Performance TMR Magnetic Encoder Chip TMR3111D
The newly released TMR3111D high-performance tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) magnetic encoder chip supports both on-axis and off-axis magnetic circuit designs, delivering a compact and highly reliable solution for humanoid robots, quadruped robots, servo motor systems, and high-precision motion control applications. According to MEMS Consulting, MultiDimension Technology, a global leader in magnetic sensors and a pioneer in TMR technology, recently introduced the TMR3111D to provide high-speed, high-accuracy rotational position detection for robotics and industrial automation. The chip integrates advanced TMR sensing with digital signal processing in an ultra-compact package, offering superior angle accuracy, repeatability, and long-term stability. By outperforming traditional Hall-effect encoders in magnetic sensitivity, signal-to-noise ratio, and tolerance to mechanical misalignment, the TMR3111D simplifies system integration while enhancing overall reliability. With support for multiple industrial interfaces including SPI, ABZ, PWM, and UVW, and a maximum rotational speed of 40,000 rpm, it is optimized for high-dynamic joint actuators and precision servo drives. The AIC Engineering team highlights its potential to accelerate next-generation motion control architectures.
