Ferrite Rubber Magnet

铁氧体橡胶磁体

Ferrite rubber magnets are flexible bonded permanent-magnet sheets and rolls produced by blending ferrite (strontium / barium) magnetic powder with rubber or plastic binders and processing additives, then calendering or extruding the mix into anisotropic or isotropic sheets or coils.

Sheets and rolls are supplied as cut pieces, stamped parts, die-cut shapes, or continuous coils in custom widths and lengths. Extruded magnetic strips are available in flat, grooved, and custom cross-section profiles, wound into rolls. The material is soft, flexible, impact-resistant, and will not shatter; it can be laminated with adhesive, PVC, paper, or printed films and machined without special tooling.

Although its magnetic energy product is lower than that of rare-earth magnets, the low cost, excellent corrosion resistance, stable performance, and processability make it the material of choice for high-volume, cost-sensitive applications such as refrigerator door gaskets, micro-motors, magnetic signage, educational magnets, and holding devices.

Key Features

Flexible & Impact-Resistant

Soft, bendable, and shatter-proof — conforms to curved surfaces and survives bending without cracking.

Any Shape or Size

Easily cut, stamped, or die-cut into strips, discs, rings, and complex custom geometries.

Cost-Effective

Ferrite powder + rubber binder keeps material cost low for high-volume production runs.

Corrosion-Resistant

Excellent chemical and corrosion resistance with stable performance — no coating required.

Surface Lamination

Accepts adhesive, PVC, paper, or printed film laminations for ready-to-use finished parts.

Easy to Magnetize

Supports single-pole, multi-pole, and custom magnetization patterns on request.

Sheets & Rolls

Available as flat sheets, continuous rolls, and adhesive-backed coils. Standard widths from narrow magnetic strips to wide sheet rolls; lengths and core sizes to order. Plain magnetic face or with 3M double-sided adhesive and release liner for direct mounting.

  • Flat sheets — cut to size or supplied in standard panel dimensions
  • Magnetic strip rolls — narrow to medium width, plain or 3M adhesive-backed
  • Wide sheet rolls — on cardboard or plastic cores, partially slit on request

Extruded Magnetic Strips

Extruded Magnetic Strips

Compound is continuously extruded through profile dies to form magnetic strips with flat, grooved (C-channel), or custom cross-sections. Supplied in rolls across a range of widths and lengths — ideal for door seals, label holders, and mounting tracks.

  • Flat strip rolls — standard magnetic tape in various widths
  • Grooved / C-channel profiles — accepts inserts for labels, cards, or trim
  • Custom extruded profiles — die-designed cross-sections to your drawing
Custom Shapes & Flexibility

Custom Shapes & Flexibility

The sheet form factor makes ferrite rubber magnets exceptionally processable. They can be cut into strips, discs, rings, and complex custom shapes, and bent to conform to curved surfaces — ideal for gaskets, labels, and integration into assembled products.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about our magnets, customisation, ordering and shipping.

What is a ferrite rubber magnet?
+
A ferrite rubber magnet is a flexible, rubber-bonded ferrite sheet or strip that bends, cuts, and adhesive-backs easily — the lowest-cost flexible magnet for sealing, signage, and gaskets.
Ferrite rubber vs flexible NdFeB — which to choose?
+
Choose ferrite rubber for low-cost, low-strength flexible applications (seals, fridge magnets, signage). Choose flexible NdFeB when higher holding force or sensor field strength is required in a bendable form.
Can ferrite rubber magnets be multi-pole magnetised?
+
Yes. Ferrite rubber magnets can be supplied multi-pole magnetised on one face (e.g. dense pole pitch for sensors/latches) and die-cut to shape with adhesive backing.
